NZ law requires that for a wedding ceremony to be legal it must be conducted by a registered civil, or religious celebrant.


Many weddings increasingly feature a more personalised wedding service than traditional church vows. As your marriage celebrant, we will conduct a special ceremony tailored to the individual needs of you, the bride and groom.


In utilising our services, you can make your wedding as intimate and personal as you like. We can assist you to write your own ceremony and vows, and allow the day to truly reflect your love, commitment and passion.


We will officiate at your choice of venue, be it a beautiful garden, a marquee on the lawn or even on top of a mountain!!


As your celebrant, we will also be able to offer suggestions as to ideas to include children, blended families, and special friends, helping to create the perfect day for you, the bride and groom.

Celebrant's Bio's

  • P E T E R   L.   D U N C A N   Dip Theo, JP

    Graduating in 1997 with a Diploma of Theology while also enjoying a successful career in the corporate Banking sector here in New Zealand, Peter brings a wealth of experience to his role as a Celebrant.

    Among other things, Peter enjoys 'rolling up his sleeves and working in his local community". This "hands on" community involvement led to Peter being appointed a Justice of the Peace in 2005, a role he still actively enjoys today.

    When he's not otherwise working, Peter enjoys spending time with his family, hitting the Gym, and holidaying in exotic sun denched destinations overseas.

    Prior to graduating with a Diploma in Theology in 1997, Valeta enjoyed a successful career in the private sector. Valeta's vast experience and specialist skills in I.T. and large project management are a huge asset in her role as both a Celebrant and Wedding Planner.
